We have investigated this matter and found that not all AA batteries are compatible with the first models of the SP-WR-1800. This issue has been resolved in newer models.

If your device is one of the first models, the following batteries are compatible:

• Camelion Plus Alkaline (available at Obi)
  
  
  
• Energizer Accu Recharge universal (1300 mAh)
